Sylvania Hills Memorial Park

Sylvania Hills Memorial Park has been serving families in Beaver County since 1938. More than 40,000 loved ones have been memorialized over our 102 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, which includes mausoleums and more than 20 gardens.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Daugherty Township and Rochester, Pennsylvania, the cemetery is known for its lovely lawns, stately trees and striking features, such as Chimes Tower, Last Supper and the Resurrection of Christ. The most noted feature is a majestic mausoleum with cathedral architectural design.

Burial options

Families who choose traditional ground burial can opt for flat bronze markers or upright granite memorials. Private or semiprivate family estates allow generations of families to be memorialized together, as do private family mausoleums. We even offer personalized landscaping to match each family's style.

For those who choose cremation, we offer glass- and granite-front niches, as well as bronze memorials and granite benches.

Honoring veterans

Each year during the Memorial Day holiday, hundreds of volunteers place more than 7,000 American flags on veterans' graves. The flags wave in the late spring breeze, creating a memorable image of honorable service and freedom.

History

Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home bears the name of founder George Gabauer and longtime employee and third-generation Beaver County native Bob Saul. Bob was called to funeral service at a young age and has been a licensed funeral director since 1979, at funeral homes in Pennsylvania, Florida and Indiana.

The funeral home was built in 1993 on the grounds of Sylvania Hills Memorial Park to provide families with convenience when planning funeral services. Our celebration of life center opened in 2015 to meet a growing need for reception services.

Today, Sylvania Hills Memorial and Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home continue to provide exceptional care to families as part of the Dignity Memorial network.
